Depression Major depressive disorder is a common and serious medical illness that negatively affects how you feel, the way you think, and your actions. Depression causes the feeling of sadness and loss of interest in the activities you enjoyed earlier. 

Depression is the most critical state of Mental unwellness. Depression, anxiety, stress are the major threats to mental health. There are several and different reasons for an individual facing Depression. 

Depression is dangerous for mental health, but it is more dangerous for the physical health of an individual. Untreated and Uncontrolled Depression can take a big toll on your physical health as well. In addition, there are long-term effects of Depression on a person. 

Every single human on earth has good or bad days, but some human has more bad days. For example, Depression is an extremely serious mental health condition that can become deadly if it is not treated on time.

Depression is the 10th topmost reason people die through poor mental health conditions; Depression and aggressive behavior lead to suicides. Depression destroys the complete health and life of an individual.

Weight gain or weight loss- Weight gain and weight loss are among the most common systems seen in people who are suffering from Depression. Either they don’t eat at all, or they eat too much. 

Disturbed sleeping pattern– Sleeping is the most relaxing activity for the human body. However, disturbed sleeping pattern causes many other problems in a human. They start feeling more tired and exhausted all the time. This is one other most common symptom of Depression.

Difficulty in concentration– The person facing Depression usually becomes unable to focus and concentrate on anything. They cannot work, read, study, or even access the devices for a long time. Their mind becomes slow and inactive due to their mental condition.

Alcohol and drug abuse– People with Depression usually become helpless. They can not explain the condition of their mind to anyone. So they start consuming intoxicating substances to get relieved from their mental health condition. 

Suicidal thoughts– The helplessness during this mental health condition makes the person think more about suicides, and they start hurting themselves in different ways. 

Deep sadness and loss of interest– A person with Depression feels deep sadness, loneliness, and anxiety all the time. They lost all their interest in the activity they used to enjoy earlier. 

Sexual disabilities– The person with Depression faces a loss of interest in sex and sexual activities. They face sexual disabilities and poor performance, and they may become impotent due to untreated depression.

Physical diseases– Untreated Depression brings and invites multiple diseases in the human body. Heart, kidney, Brain, and other diseases make space in the body of the person suffering from Depression. 

The symptoms and dangers of depression are different in every individual. All humans do not face and go through the same symptom and danger. As Depression is different in every individual, its effects on their bodies are also different.
